Structure of the Teaching Materials - Let's Learn Chinese
i. K2 includes A, B volume, each volume includes 6 lessons, total had 12 lessons, and the
major sections of each lesson are:
1. Learning core: dialogues, vocabulary words phrases, Chinese characters (two subsections: recognizing / reading and practicing writing) and grammatical structures.
2. In-class practice: Includes recognition, reading, and writing practice of the lesson's Chinese characters, as well as task-based activities, games, and pronunciation review.
3. Workbook: Every lesson includes four types of practice-listening, speaking, reading, and writing for take-home or after-class practice.
4. Vocabulary word/phrase index: All the vocabulary word/phrase of the book as appendix in the last pages of the book.
ii. Learning contents of Volume K2:
1.105 Vocabulary words/phrases, 54 Supplementary vocabulary words/phrases.
2. 164 Chinese characters.
3.25 Sentence patterns / Grammatical structure

2025 Fall semester begins on August 10, 2025 and ends on December 7, 2025.

2026 Spring semester begins on January 4, 2026 and ends on May 10, 2026.

Tuition includes a Chinese class and an extracurricular elective, please select one elective class under the "Child Extracurricular Elective" section on the main page. 

學費包含中文課及才藝選修課, 請在主頁的孩童才藝課裡選擇一門課。

Age requirement: Students must be at least 5 years old by 09/01/2025.

年齡限制：報名基礎班的新生，須於 09/01/2025 前年滿五歲。

Students are required to wear uniforms during classes. Uniform fees are not included in tuition and are available for order during the registration process. Uniform will be ready to be picked up on the 1st day of school (8/10/2025). 

Tzu Chi summer uniform: $17.00 / Tzu Chi winter uniform: $20.00

In addition, please purchase the blue pants on your own.

Each class has a maximum of 18 students, classes with less than 6 students may not be offered.

班級人數以18 名為上限，若學生人數不足6 名，原則上將不開班。
